The Astute Systems GXA-1 is a ruggedized AI computing platform designed for land autonomy applications, particularly in defense and industrial sectors. Built around the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Industrial module, it delivers up to 248 TFLOPS of processing power for real-time edge AI tasks such as sensor fusion, obstacle detection, and autonomous navigation. Its architecture supports multiple camera inputs, EO/IR sensors, and legacy video formats, making it ideal for 360° situational awareness and operations in degraded visual environments.
With compliance to Generic Vehicle Architecture (GVA) and DEF-STAN standards, the GXA-1 integrates seamlessly into military vehicles, robotics, and heavy equipment for autonomous missions in harsh conditions.
In the Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) domain, the GXA-1 serves as a powerful enabler rather than a standalone solution. Its high compute density allows real-time video analytics, radar data fusion, and AI-driven object classification for drone detection and tracking. The platform’s open architecture supports integration with software-defined radios and electronic warfare modules, enabling layered defense strategies.
By processing large sensor datasets locally, the GXA-1 minimizes latency for threat identification and engagement decisions, making it a critical component for tactical C-UAS systems and command nodes in modern defense networks.
The GXA-1 is proudly designed and built in Australia, ensuring secure supply and compliance with Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) standards. It meets rigorous military specifications for EMI, vibration, and environmental resilience, guaranteeing reliability in harsh conditions.
Certified by Boeing Defence Australia, the GXA-1 delivers aerospace-grade quality and integration readiness for critical defence missions.
